8 Feb 06...    Podcast Paul came around last night...  I always knew him as Paul Nicholls (by day a solicitor and on Sundays, drummer and worship leader at CLC church, Selly Oak)... but there you go, he's moonlighting as Podcast Paul too! He interviewed me at home and played three tracks: (1) Paradise Garden, (2) City Girl and (3) God's good time.   Podcast Paul
He left saying he was going to whinge at me until I put my music up on the 'podsafe network' (??) ... now I can empathise with the dinosaur's - I'd never heard of it!  So it's my new mission in life, to become pod literate, pod real, pod now, played on the podnet, an totally podable chap in our podtime. It's a great new communication medium. For eight months, from February to October 2004, I was a part owner of Air Taxis Ltd along with Mike Chamberlain and Alan Smith. Then we sold the company and now I work for someone else again! The company is now renamed Jet Options Ltd (and has just bought a Citation Jet).

 		 Patterns in the Chaos is a biographical litany of my meanderings from growing up in Birmingham and being part of the sixties 'brumbeat' group scene, through to playing for the Electric Light Orchestra (ELO) group in the eighties. Along with the music, it includes stories of being a flight instructor and a Commercial pilot. Meeting Jesus and becoming a Christian in 1988, becoming the lay pastor of a church in Birmingham. Stories also about Romania and some of the wonderful people I have met, some of whom  happen also to be famous. It is about 70,000 words and includes some 75 original photographs.
